Ceramics: Slab Building Functional Pottery

Designed for beginners. Over four meetings, you’ll learn techniques and applications of slab building to create functional forms such as cups, tumblers, or small bowls. To finish your pieces, you’ll learn about glaze application and the firing process. Return for the final meeting to check out others' completed products on display, get final instructions on care and maintenance, and pick up your finished items to take home and enjoy. Expect to produce two to four functional vessels. Included: three studio hours from noon-1 PM on select days.
