Ceramics: Coil Building

Coil building- Over the course of three weeks students will build coil pottery with a focus on function, design, and decorative elements. The forth week students will gain an understanding of glaze application to highlight decorative elements of their form. Week five will be reserved for work pick up. This course is suitable for all levels of ceramic experience and offers a detailed look at one of the oldest forms of ceramic construction. Included: three studio hours from 11 AM-12 PM on select days.
