Learn how to simplify the complex landscape. Working from the same projected photo, you will be shown a progression in the sharpness of an image. With this method you'll start a painting with the most fundamental shapes and values. Topics covered include creating believable depth, mixing a variety of greens, and simplifying texture. Paula McCarty, MFA, will conduct the workshop. New students can expect a materials list of approx. $130, while existing painters may need to augment their current supplies.
