ID : 19460

« back to classes page
This class focuses on painting what we see rather than what we know, using an approach that focuses on working general to specific and concentrating on color and shape. Begin by painting from photographs and then move on to working from a simple still life. The emphasis is on breaking down objects into basic shapes, identifying essential color components, and applying paint with purpose and intention—building a strong foundation for seeing and painting with clarity. New students can expect a materials list of approx. $130 while existing painters may need to augment their current supplies.
